NOR-CAL Moving Services started in 1982 as a local office mover for Bechtel. They had 6 employees serving one customer leasing a basement office in San Francisco. Now, 40 years later, the company has grown to more than 300 employees and 3 offices with more than 400,000 square feet of warehouse space.
In 1986, NOR-CAL Moving Services was incorporated and the original owner, Dennis Goza brought in two new partners, Peter Mazzetti and Bill Freeman to expand its service portfolio and provide Domestic and International Residential Moving Services. During the same year, NOR-CAL Moving Services became an Allied Agent.
Throughout the years, NOR-CAL Moving Services grew successfully and has built a reputation for providing quality work in the San Francisco Bay Area. The three partners, Dennis, Peter, and Bill retired in 2004 leaving the company to 8 Managers that purchased NOR-CAL Moving Services. Today, 4 of them are the current owners of NOR-CAL Moving Services.
For four decades, the company has come a long way and continues to share its passion and skill for moving while remaining rooted in the core principles of providing quality relocation services in the San Francisco Bay Area.
