Founded in 1982, NOR-CAL Moving Services is a privately owned moving services organization with over four decades of experience in the moving industry. We are a full-service relocation company offering a wide range of moving and storage solutions for the entire San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California. This includes residential, commercial and international moving services. As an Allied Agent since 1986, we have both national and international reach using Allied’s global footprint with dedicated network of 800 agents worldwide.
From the very first days, the company has been built based on the core values of service excellence. This has allowed us to create a reputation of delivering superior service for our customers that has become the pillar to our success. Our unwavering dedication in providing excellent customer service has also earned us multiple accolades by our Allied family.

History
NOR-CAL Moving Services started in 1982 as a local office mover for Bechtel. Over 40 years, it has grown to 300+ employees, 3 offices, and 400,000+ sq ft of warehouse space.
In 1986, NOR-CAL Moving Services incorporated and added partners Peter Mazzetti and Bill Freeman. They expanded services to include Domestic and International Residential Moving and became an Allied Agent.
The company gained a strong reputation in the San Francisco Bay Area and the original owners retired in 2004, leaving it to 8 managers who purchased NOR-CAL Moving Services. Today, 3 of them are the current owners.
Despite its growth, NOR-CAL Moving Services remains committed to quality relocation services in the San Francisco Bay Area, staying true to its core principles for over four decades.
