April Activities in Hayward, CA!

April is just around the corner, and Hayward has a jam-packed spring schedule of fun, exciting events planned! Nor-Cal moving has put together a list of some of our favorite can’t-miss events that we can’t help but recommend. There are offerings for children and families of all ages—the perfect way to enjoy quality time with loved ones this spring!

Easter egg hunt
H.A.R.D.’s 70 Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Bonnet Parade
Saturday, April 4
Event begins at 9:00am
Kennedy Park

Registration starts at 9:00am, with the parade starting at 9:30am. Kids ages 6 and under can also participate in the annual Bonnet parade. Bonnets must be homemade and will be judged by how pretty, unusual and colorful they are, so don’t be afraid to get creative! The Egg Hunt will follow the conclusion of the Bonnet Parade (in age categories) and the Easter Bunny himself will be making a surprise visit! The event will go on, rain or shine—don’t miss out!

$12 per participant

If you’ve ever been curious about fishing and what you might find under the water, come to Let’s Go Fishing! For only $12 per participant, you’ll learn everything that a beginning fisherman or woman needs to know: basic rigging, equipment, ethics, and ecology, all while hiking and fishing in San Francisco Bay (all equipment is provided). You must be 6 years old or older and participants aged 16+ must have a fishing license.

The Color Dash

Help out your community, get fit and have FUN at this year’s Color Dash! 50% of every Color Dash ticket goes towards the community, and this year’s 5k will benefit the Winton Middle School Physical Education Department.  Come join the laughter and craziness of the brightest 5K around. We all can use some healthy laughter and create some positive energy helping to raise money for Physical Education.
