We understand that at times things happen during the transport and move of your items that result in items received in a damaged condition or items not received during delivery. Let us make it right. Please complete the claim form we have provided below and submit to hhgclaims@nor-calmoving.com. Upon receipt of your claim form, our Claim Adjuster will review and contact you directly.

Things to keep in mind when filing a Claim:

All claims must be completed and received by our company within nine months from the delivery date of your shipment.
Providing complete information such as inventory numbers, brand names, amount claimed, etc. will expedite the review of your claim and help prevent any unnecessary delays. Where exact costs are not available, an estimate would be helpful.
Please do not proceed with repairs or replacements, do not transport to a new location, and do not destroy or discard items. Frequently, a visual inspection is required prior to authorizing final adjustments. You may secure repair estimates provided no expense is incurred.
Upon receipt of the claim form, we will take the necessary steps to see that your claim is properly investigated and adjusted. It may be necessary to require an inspection of the damaged articles, therefore, please do not dispose of or repair any item until further instructions have been received from this office.

Nor-Cal did a GREAT job with my recent move from the CA Bay Area to Denver CO. It wasn't a simple move: I moved first into storage for several months, and then once I had a place in Denver, Nor-Cal arranged for two drop-offs, once at my condo and another at my son's house for some items that I decided not to keep. I can’t recommend this moving company enough. I hired NOR-CAL Moving to move a lot of furniture and boxes - not across town or across the country, but within my own house! I had some storage built in my attic so I could clear out my garage and various closets. The NOR-CAL movers were FABULOUS! They were very professional, neat and clean, super nice to work with, fast and strong. They listened attentively to instructions and followed through. Everything was carefully carried up two flights of stairs to my attic without nicking any walls or doors (that was hard to do). I also had two very large Persian area rugs which they laid out on their blankets, vacuumed the rugs, and carefully rolled them up in acid-free Tyvek for storage. NOR-CAL also packed and moved all of my household items 8 years ago, stored them temporarily in their warehouse, and then delivered everything to my new house. There were three gigantic flat-bed trucks of "stuff" and not a single item was lost or broken. NOR-CAL Moving is reliable, honest, careful, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend NOR-CAL Moving for all of your moving needs.
