Things to Do in San Francisco This Summer!

Summer is here in San Francisco!  Summer in San Francisco continues to bring residents and tourists out into the city to experience the culture and events that take place.  With average temperatures of 70 degrees Fahrenheit, San Francisco continues to provide a wide array of activities and attractions for its local patrons and for visitors all over the world. While the city is not big, many of the cities’ attractions are spread out which gives you a great opportunity to walk or take a cable car to see the whole city.  If you plan on traveling to San Francisco, or if you are a resident looking to get out of the house, San Francisco Moving Company, Nor-Cal Moving Services has some great insight on awesome activities to check out this summer!

Before we discuss what to do, we should talk about what you should pack.  People tend to forget that San Francisco is not like the rest of California.  San Francisco can be chilly, especially by the wharf.  Even though most people see California as a beach vacation with palm trees and the smell of suntan lotion, San Francisco is the exact opposite.  When traveling to San Francisco, you should pack the following:

  • Fleece or sweater
  • T-shirts or jerseys
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • Walking shoes
  • Long pants
  • Light jacket for evening
  • Day pack/bag
